Important Note on Beach Sessions

The beach is almost always windy! Please keep this in mind when booking. I do my best to position people so that hair is not blowing in their face. If you are very concerned about wind, I'd recommend Huntington Beach State Park or Myrtle Beach State park. In addition to the beach, they have greenery areas for photos that are less windy.

Answers to common questions
What happens if it rains?
Myrtle Beach weather changes very quickly! It is very common for rain to be predicted on a session day but pass before our scheduled time. This is why I prefer not to cancel or reschedule until the day of the session (or the day before for morning sessions). If bad weather is likely at our scheduled time, I will make every effort to reschedule to a time & date that works for everyone. I always leave a few days open every week to allow for rescheduling. No additional fees will be charged for rescheduling. If no other date is possible to reschedule, no cancellation fee will apply because of bad weather and your retainer will be refunded.
What locations can I use?
I've created a Location Guide with many options! There are several spots along the coast of Myrtle Beach that I use often. How many photos will I receive?
For full 1 hour sessions (not Mini Sessions), I include all the good images I take. For most sessions, this will typically be 35+ pictures. For extended family sessions with 10+ people, it may be as many as 80+ images because of the different groupings included.
How long will it take to get my photos?
I take pride in quality work, which can't be rushed. For full 1 hour sessions, it generally takes about 3-5 weeks for me to select, edit, export & deliver your full gallery. Extended families with 10+ people take a bit longer than smaller families and couples. I know you're anxious to see the photos right away, so I always send sneak peaks within a week of your session with at least 10 photos!

For Mini Sessions, I send lightly edited proofs within 3-5 days of your session for you to choose your favorites. Then, I go into more detailed editing on your selections to fine tune the images. I will send the final pictures 1-2 weeks after you choose your favorites.
How do I pay?
Pretty much any way you'd like! I can accept credit/debit cards in person or online, Venmo, Google Pay, cash, or check.

Policies

Booking: A $50 retainer is required to reserve your session date. This is deducted from the total cost. The remainder is due at the time of the photo shoot.

Cancellation: If you have to cancel your session for any reason other than inclement weather, the $50 retainer will not be returned.
